What Is a Party Bike? How Rides Work
If you have seen one roll past, you already get it: a big open air bike, a crew of people pedaling, music and laughing, the whole thing moving at the speed of a good mood. Here is everything else worth knowing.
How a party bike actually works
The riders are the engine. Everyone gets a seat, most seats have pedals, and the group powers the bike together along a route through town. Nobody needs to be in shape and nobody needs to know how to ride a regular bike. If you can sit and pedal at a conversation pace, you are qualified.
Who rides one
Bachelorette and bachelor parties are the classic. Birthdays, reunions, guys’ and girls’ weekends, coworkers, and groups that just want the most fun hour available in town. The common thread is a group that wants to do one thing all together instead of splitting up.
Where the Pedalcycle rides
Two towns. Beach Haven, the heart of Long Beach Island, for the classic shore town ride. Seaside Heights, home of the boardwalk, for the high energy version. Both rides put your group in the middle of the town at its best.
How to book
Everything is online. Pick your town, pick a date and time on the calendar, and book. For questions about your specific group, send a message through the contact page and we will get you sorted.
