Yes. Pedaling really powers the bike, which travels 3 to 5 MPH depending on how much the group pedals.

You will pedal through Seaside Heights or Beach Haven singing along to your favorite music, with several stops at local bars along the way.

Seaside Heights rides start and end at Riggers, 519 Boulevard, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751. Beach Haven rides start and end at Bird and Betty's, 529 Dock Rd, Beach Haven, NJ 08008.

Do we need 15 people to rent this bike?

No. Seats can be booked individually and smaller groups are paired together. The bike needs a minimum of 6 people to move.

How should I prepare for the ride?

Sign the online waiver ahead of time, bring cash and ID for drinks at the bar stops, and treat the bartenders well.

Yes, snacks are welcome. Just make sure they will not spill or get messy on the bike.

Are we allowed to tip the driver?

Yes. If your driver shows you a good time, tips are appreciated.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel, there is no refund, but you can reschedule for another available day and time. If The Pedalcycle cancels, you get a refund. If fewer than 6 seats are booked, the ride will not go out, and riders are refunded if the reservation cannot be rescheduled.

Light rain is no problem. The bike has a canopy and ponchos are provided. Rides are cancelled and rescheduled with a rain check for snow, heavy rain, or lightning.

Do we need 15 people to rent this bike?

Absolutely not! We do smaller by seat rentals and will pair you with other smaller groups to get as full of a bike as possible. We can get the bike moving at a decent speed with a minimum of 6 people.

How should I prepare for the ride?

To make your ride as enjoyable as possible, here are some things you can do! If you haven’t already, fill out and sign our online liability waiver. You may also encourage those riding with you to do the same by sending them our website or a quick email with the link! Cash is certainly king, and it will help you get a beer, drink, or shot faster and easier once we get to the bar. Remember your cash and IDs to ensure you can enjoy a nice cold one at each stop. Last but not least, remember we are having a GREAT time and the bars LOVE having us, but we are a bigger group, so be nice to your bartenders and treat them well!

Definitely! If you are like us, you LOVE to bring snacks wherever you go. Please make sure it won’t spill or get crazy messy on the Pedalcycle though!

Yes! Our drivers work very hard to ensure you have the best possible experience. If they show you a good time, please show them you are happy with their service!

IMPORTANT: If we cannot book a minimum of 6 seats, the bike will not go out. We will contact you if fewer than 6 seats are booked for your time slot, and if the ride has to cancel because of this minimum, we will refund your payment if we are unable to reschedule your reservation.

A light rain is no problem! The Pedalcycle has a canopy, but there is a chance of getting a little wet, and we will provide ponchos if you would like them. We will make the call and let riders know if we need to reschedule. If it is snowing, raining heavily, or there is any lightning, the tour will be cancelled and rescheduled with a rain check.
